Our disciplined review process includes:
- Weekly review of account holdings
- Monthly review of portfolio risk profile
- Quarterly review and detailed performance attribution
Full attendance by portfolio managers
at these reviews is mandatory.
Operating and valuation assumptions for all companies in the
portfolio are maintained in a database.
The fundamentals for each stock are maintained and reviewed regularly.
Absolute returns, relative returns and sector specific returns
are analyzed regularly.
A stock will be reviewed for sale if
and when:
- Underlying fundamentals have changed
- Unfavorable changes in management occur
- Changes occur in the competitive or regulatory environment
- Intrinsic value and market value is achieved
- Investment is down 20% relative to the market
- Risk/reward profile does not warrant increasing the investment
